    Larry B. Barnwell, 71, of Elgin died Sunday, April 19, 2009 at Sherman Hospital. Born on July 7, 1937, he was the son of Loal and Rose (Taylor) Barnwell.

    He was a lifelong resident of Elgin, IL, and retired from the Flender Corp. in 2000. Larry was a devoted father, husband, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He will be missed by many family and friends.

    Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Loal and Rose Barnwell; sisters, Shirley and Lula Barnwell; and grandchildren, Megan Lee Pfortmiller and Kaylee Lynn Zerin.

    Eleanor Doucet, 79, of Huntley died Thursday, April 9, 2009 at Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital. Born in New Bedford, MA on July 17, 1929, she was the daughter of Anibal and Rose (Mederois) Rezendes.

    She worked as a librarian for fifteen years at the Chicago Public Library and also at the Dundee Township Library.     Mary Elizabeth Knight-Stewart, 90, of Rockford, joined the Lord on
    Saturday, April 4, 2009 at Tower Hill Healthcare Center. Born on January 16, 1919 in Elizabeth, MS, she was the daughter of Daniel Sr. and Mary Bell (Matthews) Stewart.

    She was a former resident of Arkansas and Michigan, and moved to Elgin in 1959 where she has been a member of Second Baptist Church. Mary retired from School District 4-46 Food Services and was a homemaker in her later years. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, watching baseball and fishing.
